Are we dealing with something sinister? Probably.

About a week ago, David Carradine was found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok. Initial reports said he had committed suicide.
However, his family requested another autopsy, and suicide has been ruled out. http://www.imdb.com/news/ni0829748/ Are we dealing with something sinister? Probably. |

Weird stuff going on. All the reports we seemd to get here in oz seemed very much like the Michael Hutchence death. The whole bizarre sexual asphyxiation stuff

I thought it was strange that he had a (fetish?) for tying himself up. I think it may have been sexual asphyxiation.

I went to the Park Nai Lert hotel last Saturday and spoke with the hotel manager. I just introduced myself as a fan and he said that he was also a big fan and we talked for about 10 minutes. I didn't get any special insight as we mainly talked about the popularity of the Kung Fu TV series in Thailand, although David Carradine was obviously not Asian. He said that his father cried when he told him. I said that the TV show was my first exposure to the Asian culture as a young kid. Yeah, it was tragic. I don't blame the family for being angry with the Thai police in first announcing that it was a suicide and for the Thai Rath newspaper for publishing the picture. However, I don't think the martial arts mafia angle was right either. |
