I saw Martian Child in the theaters and it bothered me a little. I have posted about the film before - therapy is a good thing, but not in the movies. Someone
who thinks they are from Mars just needs to be able to do as they please and they'll be OK.

Guess what! On one of the local morning tv talk shows, they said the newest trend is people buying their own chickens herds* ! And that they start with the
little yellow chickies.
SOMEONE in our midst was ahead of the trend! *Ah..not herds...is it a clutch? a gaggle? Whatever, how are the fine feathered friends doing ? |

I think being bitten by fleas is bad enough. Do you really need to shoot them as well?

My daughter's living in an apartment building that used to be a church. She has stained glass windows and the pulpit is still there, it's been
carpeted.

It's awesome looking. Still has the original woodwork around the pulpit and thoughout the cathedral ceiling. I think it was built in the very late
1800's or early 1900's.

YIPPEE!!! The Geek Squad guy came today and installed my digital tv box. (I NEVER could have done this myself NEVER. If it were left to me I'd still be
watching tv on a rock with the Flintstones)
It's TERRIFIC! I get great reception and lots more channels. He even stayed a bit longer and patiently helped me re learn how to use my VCR. And ironically, one of my House tapes which seemed to have been growing.. ..dim upon repeated rewatching of the..(sigh)..kiss...look better now! Modern technology has more uses than I could have dreamed of. Not only that, but the first time I turned my now digital tv on all by myself; first thing I saw was all these young, stunning, almost naked buff guyz walking across the screen. For a minute I thought I 'd gone to lensy heaven- or at very least, had rerouted the Playgirl channel - but it turns out I got a new sports channel that was showing a swimming meet. And you know, I never realized how very rewarding watching sports could be
All I can say is HOORAY for the 21st CENTURY!!!! |

I accidentally knocked a wine glass off the table - the actual "cup" part was intact, but the stem and the base exploded all over the dining room.
