Hubby's job had him in Cabazon until 4:15 - he was supposed to go to Wildomar (its an hour of driving time), getting there by 6:00.

He called and said he wasn't going to make it. He had to come home, eat dinner, and change clothes. He wan't going to leave in a timely manner (plus he was wiped out by work).

I am a little glad he didn't go. He'd be exhausted.

A neighbor asked us if we wanted to come over to her house for Thanksgiving, Wednesday night. She told us that a lot of her guests called and cancelled their plans to come over.

I kind of wish we could have, but we had our plans firmly in place for a month.
